Burberry Had Better Stick to Emma Watson (And Keira Had Better Stick to Chanel)

Last time a British starlet wore custom Burberry, it looked like this:
Naturally, we had high expectations.
You would think that Burberry and Keira Knightley would be a match made in heaven, so how did she wind up in what looks like a shapeless Victorian nightgown?

Critics are already proclaiming the custom creation a sartorial success, bandying around such beloved terms as "classic" and "sophisticated." But the dress doesn't exude elegance, it simply screams MEH. The straight cut and heavy fabric disguise Keira's wasp-waisted figure, while the awkwardly bunched mutton chop shoulders truncate her arms. The dragging hem contributes to the slightly sloppy appearance, and the pinned collar with giant slit isn't terribly flattering. Hopefully, the movie will be better than Miss Knightley's outfit choices, but if "beautifully watchable" is praise enough to be advertised on the screen behind her, I'm not sure I have such great expectations.
Perhaps Keira is better suited to Chanel:
